Sony Ericsson W660i, Fully Accessorized & Stylish Walkman Cell Phone
Category: Cellphone Review -
Sony Ericsson has been very productive lately. Only one month after exhibiting nine of its latest products on 2007 3GSM World Congress, Sony Ericsson now released its newest creation to the public, Sony Ericsson W660i.
The design concept it offers only has slight differences compared to the other Sony Ericsson Walkman Cell Phone which was released earlier, W610i. Nevertheless, this W660i looks more stylish and fashionable. Besides operating within GSM network, this newest Walkman cell phone could also operate within third generation network (3G/UMTS). Its front camera, which supports its main 2 mega pixels camera, enables this phone to conduct video call.
Unlike W610i, Sony Ericsson W660i does not have auto focus or flash light feature. However, its manufacturer claims that the quality of the pictures it captures is still satisfactorily when displayed at 262.144 color TFT screen at the resolution of 176×220 pixels. Right after the pictures are captured by W660i, they can be immediately edited via PhotoDJ, or even published at blog sites.
Sony Ericsson W660i only relies on Bluetooth and USB port as the connection device to other gadgets. Its Bluetooth feature supports A2DP technology, enabling its users to listen to the music in walkman player via compatible stereo Bluetooth headset.
Interestingly, the manufacturer also provides additional accessories users could buy separately, such as IPK-100 Phone Camera Kit which consists of exclusive Cyber-shot leather case and tripod. This tripod has the connector which can be attached to the Sony Ericsson’s fast port (USB Port). Besides the Phone Camera Kit, there is also the MPS-75 Snap-On Speakers, small speakers which are claimed to be able to make W660i produce steadier and more powerful sound.
