Portable Music Player (PMP) in rectangular form is present in 9.85 x 4.9 x 1.48 dimension and 71 gram of weight. Physically it is wrapped with glossy solid black material and white trim along the body sides. Moreover, the ‘skin’ is prevented from dirt of fingerprints.
This player attaches 2.2 inches screen with 262K color and resolution of 320×240 pixels (QVGA). The display is claimed to have clear and sharp appearance. Moreover, there are 8 brightness setting levels we can operate manually using scroll wheel. So, it is more pleasant for us to explore the circular menus.
iRIVER X20 is capable to play audio video format like MP3, MP4, OGG, WMA, AVI (MPEG-4) and WMV9. It has also photo viewer and radio FM facilities. Equipped with equalizer, its beat of music play is trusted to have thunderous sound.
In addition to make use scroll wheel, the player presents buttons of hold, back, play/pause and 5 directions navigation just like iPod, to control the music play. It has also UMS (universal mass storage) function, which serves as flash disk when connected to PC via data cable. So, we just drag and drop it to transfer files.
Supplied with standard battery, iRIVER X20 is capable to play music for 22 hours. In marketplace, X20 is available in 3 choices of price and capacity, namely 2GB (US$157), 4GB (US$190) and 8 GB (US$250).
