Making Ringtones of Your Favourite Films

From time to time, ringtone of cellular phone has more and more variations. The capability of new cellular phones to play file truetone enables users to change the ringtone types into this form.
So, what else? Now, Symbian cellular phone users are able to modify video piece into ringtone using movietone applications aid. Surely, you are able to convert your favorite DVD film file.
Cellular phones of Nokia Symbian S60 includes: Nokia 7650, 3650, 3660, 6600, 6630, 6260, N-Gage , 6670, 6680, 6681, 7610, 3230, N70, N71, N73, N80, N90, N91, E50, E60, E70 and others. Outside Nokia, there are Panasonic X800, Panasonic X700, Samsung SGH-D720 and others.
Step 1
Download this Movie Tones for Nokia S60 application. You will get two trial files.
Step 2
Install mt.exe on PC and mt.sis on your cellular phone. Adjust it to your cellular phone type. MovieTones7650trial.sis is intended for Nokia 7650 and Nokia 3650 or the 1st edition of Symbian 60. File MovieTonesS60trial.sis is for the 2nd edition of Symbian 60 from Nokia 6600 and over to Nokia N70. While, MovieTonesN90trial.sis is special for Nokia N90. Install and then leave it for a moment.
Step 3
Turn to PC. Open application of Movietone editor to start editing process.
Step 4
Click ‘Option’, then choose “Setting’. Here, we can arrange the frame rate, JPEG quality, and cellular phone that will receive the video tone. Finishing that process, the program will restart.
Step 5
Choose Frames, then add video frames and choose target file directory to be converted. Choose … (marked in points) if the file is in hard disk and choose DVD if the file is from DVD disk. Set video format to .avi or .vob.
Step 6
When the film is running, choose ‘get frames’ to star and another ‘get frames’ to end it. Press ‘stop’ button to end the frame taking. On the blank column will appear frame by frame.
Step 7
Press “append” button to make the form of ‘frame” by “frame” ready to edit. We can perform ‘delete’ (clean) and other facilities such as put the frame in front of or back of the original position. Select ‘tones’ > preview to see the appearance on the available emulator.
Step 8
For audio (voice), some options are available, whether you will take the audio from the film or other files. The supporting file for audio are file.wav, .rmf, .mid, .midi and .rng. You can also make use ‘sound recorder’ application the Microsoft Windows provides by opening start > all programs > accessories > entertainment > sound recorder. When film is running press ‘record’ button to start recording and ‘stop’ to end it.
Step 9
Choose ‘save as’, type the file name and put it on the desired folder. To save space, we can change file of the recording into small size by ‘change format’, choose the small bitrate.
Step 10
Turn to other Movie Tones applications, on the ‘attached audio stream’ press button ‘……’ and choose the file of the recording result > ‘open’.
Step 11
Select ‘build’ > type the file name .mtv > ‘generate’ > type the desired file name .sis > when it shows ‘converting completed, just press ‘OK’.
At last, transfer the resulting file .sis to cellular phone. And you are ready to look the movie tone appearance on your cellular phone screen. Leave PC.
Step 12
Open and install the file sis containing of movietones to cellular phone. Open profile. Edit one of profiles (personalize) to choose movie tone and activate it.
